HypeButtons is an NFT keyboard clicker. Every collectible button occupies a real keyboard slot, has individual power and speed, and becomes part of one playable onchain identity.

The ticker $HBTN, prices and limits below are provisional design parameters. They will be finalized before the contracts are written.

How the game works

Collect

Own NFT buttons and place them into compatible square keyboard slots.

Activate

Burn $HBTN once to activate each NFT button inside the game.

Press

Start a free four-hour session and earn non-transferable KeyPoints.

Upgrade

Spend KeyPoints and burn $HBTN to increase power or speed.

Manual sessions last four hours. Reactivation is free and requires a wallet signature, not an onchain transaction. This creates a return loop without forcing users to spend tokens every four hours.

03 / NFT BUTTONS

One collection, real keyboard slots

NFT-compatible slots include letters, numbers, punctuation, F1–F12 and arrow keys. Oversized system keys such as Space, Shift, Enter, Backspace, Tab and Caps Lock are permanent parts of the keyboard and are never NFTs.

More NFTs unlock more playable buttons. Manual play has a natural limit because one person cannot press every button at once. Automated output uses diminishing returns to prevent a 50-NFT wallet from scaling linearly forever.

04 / UPGRADES

Two upgrade paths

Click power

Each level adds +5 KP per valid press. Maximum level: 10.

KP cost = 100 × current level$HBTN burn = 25 × current level

Click speed

Each level adds +0.5 valid clicks per second. Hard cap: 4 clicks/sec.

KP cost = 150 × current level$HBTN burn = 40 × current level

Requiring both currencies prevents purchased tokens from replacing gameplay and prevents accumulated KeyPoints from progressing without a token sink.

05 / AUTOMATION

Autoclicker is convenience, not dominance

  • A seven-day license costs 150 $HBTN and is burned.
  • It works continuously and removes four-hour manual reactivation.
  • Automated output is 75% of the button’s theoretical maximum.
  • Buttons 1–10 contribute 100%; 11–25 contribute 60%; buttons 26+ contribute 30% to automated output.
  • Only activated NFT buttons owned by the connected wallet are eligible.
06 / $HBTN TOKEN

Utility and boundaries

$HBTN is the utility token used to activate and improve HypeButtons. Clicking never mints $HBTN. Users obtain it through the supported market or future official distribution programs; the game does not promise financial returns.

Every gameplay payment is sent to a burn mechanism. Marketplace royalties and primary NFT sale proceeds are separate from the in-game economy.

07 / BALANCE MODEL

Why the loop remains bounded

  • No token faucet: gameplay creates KeyPoints, never transferable tokens.
  • Permanent sinks: every new NFT activation and every upgrade burns $HBTN.
  • Recurring sink: automation requires a renewable seven-day license.
  • Hard caps: power stops at level 10 and speed at 4 clicks/sec.
  • Diminishing automation: large collections remain useful without receiving linear passive output.
  • Seasonal KP reset: leaderboard KP resets each season; permanent NFT grades remain.

Protocol parameters may move by no more than ±20% between seasons and only through a delayed, publicly visible configuration update. No price may change during an active season.

08 / FAIR PLAY

Clicks stay fast; ownership stays verifiable

Every four-hour session begins with a wallet signature and a unique nonce. Clicks are validated offchain against each NFT’s speed limit, ownership and session state. Results are periodically committed in batches. Reused nonces, impossible click timing and ownership changes invalidate pending output. The official autoclicker runs server-side through the same deterministic rules.

09 / FUTURE CONTRACT SET

Planned architecture

  1. NFT collection: ownership, metadata, slot type and rarity.
  2. ERC-20 token: capped supply, standard transfers and explicit burn function.
  3. Game registry: NFT activation, upgrade levels and license expiration.
  4. Settlement verifier: accepts signed or Merkle-batched seasonal results.
  5. Parameter timelock: delayed seasonal configuration within fixed limits.
Contracts should not be written until collection supply, token supply, admin controls, settlement trust model and audit scope are approved.
